Strong Women Plan Too: Protecting Yourself While You Care for Everyone Else

International Women’s Month is a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and impact of women everywhere. In our world, that strength often shows up quietly, in the day-to-day roles women carry as caregivers, decision-makers, and the steady foundation for their families. Many women find themselves caring for children, supporting aging parents, and often outliving their spouses. In fact, nearly 80% of women will outlive their partner.

Life evolves, and your plan should too. Career changes, marriages, divorces, and growing families all impact your wishes. Regularly reviewing your estate plan ensures your beneficiaries, guardians, and healthcare directives reflect your current life.

Caring for others is powerful. Making a plan for yourself is just as important.
